Project EVO X SST 500 – Introduction

Intro:

Yousef Al-K is a huge car and bike enthusiast. One day, after a nice breakfast on the beach, he decides to get himself a project car to enter the moding and tuning world. After not much thinking, he went and got himself an Evo X SST (Double clutch automatic transmission).

Couple of days later, Yousef goes cruising on the Gulf Road with his Evo, sad and lonely, thinking about what parts to get, and which garages to go to. Suddenly, a fast object starts appearing on his mirror, as it approaches, he finds out it’s a modded Evo IX with Omar Salar driving coming to the rescue. Omar gave him advises and informed him about his garage which made Yousef happy with a boosted spirit.

Yousef goes to Boosted Spirits Performance and immediately starts modding his Evo with BSP Stage 1 mods which are listed below:

  • ETS intake
  • ETS intercooler and pipes
  • Supersprint turbo back exhaust
  • Tuned by BSP
  • Dynoed at 345whp/342tq

Yousef was very happy with his tune and the new power of the Evo X, but obviously more power is never a sin.

Now, Yousef is ready to move on and install Stage 2 performance mods. The Evo is currently at BSP garage getting ready for the new installs which will be documented exclusively on Q8mods.com step by step.  Below are the new mods which are going to be installed:

  • FP red turbo
  • GSC cams with Supertech valve springs and retainers
  • ETS O2 dump
  • AMS 600hp fuel kit
  • 1000cc injector clinic injectors
  • Synapse synchronic BOV
  • SSP 500+ whp clutch kit
  • SSP transmission cooler
  • Swift lowering springs
