One of the things I dislike about the Evo X are all the chrome parts and the fog lights. Mitsubishi should be slapped for putting chrome all over the car, for gods sake its an Evo, not a Mercedes. Also, the foglights are round which do not fit the lines of the Evo at all, and to add insult to injury, they are surrounded with chrome :S
So what did I do? I ordered a fog light delete kit which is an OEM part from Japan that comes standard with the Evo X RS (the light weight Evo X), and painted all the horrible chrome parts matte black.
Stage 1 Exterior mods list:
- OEM Evo X fog light delete kit
- Blacked out front bezel
- Blacked out side window trim
- Blacked out front grill (was silver)
- Perrin shorty antenna
As you may notice, they are minor modifications, but they make a HUGE difference. Remember, it’s the small things that make all the difference, not the fast and furious fiberglass body kit.
