G35 Sedan – Super Sedan

“Back in 2006 I joined a few online forums to try and see which car I should get when the time comes. I remember joining several different forums, from mustangs to S2000′s, however I seem to spend most of my time in the Z forums. Nissan just announced the introduction of the 2007 350Z HR, which was such a great technological leap over the previous VQ.
Lurking the forums for the next few months reading everything from technical articles to body repair, I was dead set on getting the HR powered 350Z as soon as it came to Kuwait. However when the time did come in 2008, I realized that being a teenager driving a 2 seater was just asking for trouble from the cops. So I reconsidered my options, and only a few feet away sat the G35 coupe and the newly introduced V36 G35 sedan (Back then Infiniti and Nissan shared the same showroom). I fell in love with the sedan after realizing it had the same engine and chassis as the Z only with 2 more doors. Perfect! So I spend another couple months on the G forums and in April of 2008 I made my visit to the new Infiniti show room to test drive the car. As soon as I sat on the driver seat, I just knew right then and there it was the car for me. So a week later I drove home with a new 2008 liquid platinum G sedan.
Driving a 160whp Nissan Pathfinder for a year before acquiring the G, it felt like a monster, never even thought I’d modify the car in any way but the mod bug hit me, and it hit hard. 2 years later and I have a list of mods with more to come on the way.

Carbon fiber diffuser gives a nice touch to the rear

Engine bay looks good with the cold air intake and strut bar

Volk wheels and big brake kit, awesome.

Mod list:
Stillen cat-back exhaust
Invidia catted down pipes
Injen intakes
Tanabe coilovers
Hotchkis sway bars
Akebono big brake kit
Volk GTF wheels
AKX carbon fiber diffuser
AKX lip spoiler
GTSpec strut bar
GReddy oil catch can

custom painted calipers grille and headlights
Uprev dyno tuned.

Q8Mods.com Review:
Excellent choice in parts and very cleanly modded. However, the car needs to be dropped more to look aggresive, it already has coilovers so height is adjustable. Plate bracket should be changed to a square bracket or I suggest the plate to be fixed on the bumper to make the front end look cleaner. Chrome window trim should be painted black. Also, slotted rotors as an option with the big brake kit would of been nice.

    1. Don’t forget to rate it :)

  2. Pretty awesome ride. Lovin’ the carbon fiber diffusers. The rims to me has to be the highlight of the car. Does so much for the look, great choice subtle style yet very awesome!

  3. Pretty impressive job you’ve done there man, props to you for the choice of car and opt’ing to mod such a beautiful car (opposed to doing the typical thing of getting a pick up or Tahoe/Yukon and blacking it all out and stuff ;p). Have you considered giving the rims a paint job? I think they’d add a new image to the overall look =).

  4. I think the coupe looks much better, 4 door is just much harder to mod to look good. I can just picture the same mods you have on a G37..Now that would get a 10/10, but never the less we all have different tastes

  5. Choice of carbon pieces and set of rims look smokin!

  6. I’m not a big fan of G35s but I gotta admit this one is pretty neat! I sent the post link to my friend who is a G35 owner and I’m sure he’ll be interested. Agree about the front number plate and black window trim.

  7. Great looking G 35, Obviously I could not resist rating it as well.
